Goldfields Music Club

The Goldfields Music Club provides the Goldfields region with a safe, nurturing environment for Musicians and for those interested in music – to meet, socialise, perform and explore the aspects of the benefits of music.

We do this by:

• Being open to all musicians regardless of age & ability,
• Passing on music related skills and knowledge,
• Helping to develop confidence as a performer,
• Providing opportunities to perform and attend performances, and,
• Working with the Goldfields communities to provide support to Community Programs.

Music is Fun! A great way to relax that is good for the Soul! A place for those who create music, want to listen to music and meet other like-minded friendly people. You can also volunteer at our various gigs and events.

The club is active on social media, particularly on Facebook, where we share updates about upcoming events and activities. If you’re interested in joining or attending an event, checking our Facebook page would be a great way to stay informed.

OPEN MIC AND JAM NIGHT

Held Fortnightly on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month at the Dunolly Golf Club, Separation Road. 6:30pm—11:30pm. All players and public are welcome with $5 entry. Lucky door prizes, bar, meals available.

Vibes on Broadway – Dunolly’s Street Festival

Our 2nd Vibes on Broadway, Dunolly Street Festival was held on Sunday,October 26th 2025, showcasing our local Community, History, Music & Gold. Developed and Presented by the Goldfields Music Club – It’s “ALL about the Vibes” with Dunolly’s main street – Broadway, closed to traffic from Bull Street to Thompson Street from 9. 30 am until 3pm.

Our community and town were proudly on display: Local LIVE Music; Celebrating Gold; Our Unique Gold Rush History and last but not least, a revival of a Country Town Street Parade featuring our local community groups as they stride down our beloved Broadway. It will be a proud sight to behold.

So many activities and enjoyment for the day weaving through several venues of Dunolly from a main music stage in front of our Post Office, historic selfies in the Town Hall, Gold Panning in the Rene Fox Gardens, discovering historical buildings like our Court House and a local history tour.

Something for everyone.

Add to that:- Classic Vehicles, Martial Arts and Belly Dancing Displays, Dragon Dancing (a nod to Dunolly’s Goldfields Chinese history), the Castlemaine Pipe Band, local cafes and of course, Music filled the air with local bands from the Central Goldfields Region.

Dunolly & Surrounds come together to showcase our town and community –  See you all next year on the last Sunday of October – we can’t wait!
